Just had a look at this machine, it fills, heats and washes ok. When it is put on spin, it drains then the drum rotates slowly in alternate directions, then just as it ramps up to spin the machine shuts off after powering up the drier motor briefly then advancing the timer to stop.
Ive checked main motor windings, brushes and tacho, also tried running machine with drier element disconnected.
This machine uses the hybrid type timer.
    Any ideas thanks.

Does it try to spin a couple of times then the timer goes to stop position, if it does its the triac on the PCB borad short circuited

Wish I’d known it just needed a triac, could have made myself a few quid a few weeks ago.

It just about starts the spin, just after the distribute 55 rpm right and left it starts to ramp up to about 100 to 200 rpm then shuts off and goes to stop. (if it was the triac wouldnt it just go flat out spin)
    Thaks for your help. Clive
