According to the FD number made in 2002. When you switch it on , even if the door is open, The drain pump activates and is filling at the same time constantly. Flood switch not activated. Also the small display all the segments are lit up. I’m guessing computer?
Good guess but I suspect something has caused the ‘control module’ to blow in the first place? Take it off and look closely at what (if any?) damage is on the board? Then trace the nearest plug in connectors adjacent to where the board has blown. Trace the wires to the guilty component.
All the above information assumes that the flood switch hasn’t been activated of course. 😉
Agree with Martin. Your find a triac with a blown top if you look carefully. If your lucky it will be the dispenser otherwise it’s usually diverter motor on the heater box 😥
Thanks for the reply lads, so it’s module related. Have to go back later and strip, didn’t have time earlier. Probably not worth fixing anyway? First thing i checked was the flood switch. It was ok.

Has anyone had any joy replacing this triac?
If so, is there a part number for it, or have you scavenged one from an old board?
