hoTL 61 point dryer

    hi guys hotpoint aquries tumble dryer model TL61 makes a squecking sound when going what would cause this front bearings or jockey pully thanks fasetester. 🙂

    either, or.

    check both for damage.

    just repaired a creda equiv of the 61 and that was bearings, but until you look you wont see…

    Jockey pulleys, rear bearing, brass earth strip at the back rubbing on the drum shaft ( a spot of grease stops this ) are the usual culprits.

    thanks guys for your reply. i was repairing another appliance and he just said it was in the shed. it was late on and a lot of thing in front of it i thought that when i went back i would be prepared if the copper strip is worn throught does it not need to be replaced.

    or was it the jocky pully if makeing a noise to put some grease on. is it a successful repair. putting the bearing kit in these dryers. not like the proline creda dryers. thanks fasetester 🙂
