    Evening all

Hope someone can give some guidance regarding an issue I have.

I have a Bosch five burner gas hob.

I was heating up a pan of water on the main large wok burner when some of the water from the pan started to leak out due to the handle on the pan breaking – the water escaped from one of the rivet holes which attached the handle to the pan. Anyway, a fair amount of water leaked into the burner.

I turned off the burner and thoroughly cleaned out all visible water but now the burner won’t work.

I can smell gas but it won’t ignite.

Is it simply a case of waiting for the burner to dry out thoroughly or will it inevitably require an appropriate engineer to investigate.

I can provide details of the exact model number tomorrow if necessary.

    TIA.
