When you say a full test do you mean running the diagnostics program?
Full Pnc number is always worth posting as well. 😉

hiya, iv’e tested everything with my kit, insulation and continuity, cant find a problem with anything in the machine, the humming sound starts as soon as you select a program and press start then 5 seconds later machine goes dead, the sound is coming from the motor, it sounds like its stuck but when you test it it seems ok

When the microprocessor detects an error it stops after 4 seconds in fact. At that point the start/pause button flashes intermittently red then green. Count how many times it flashes red and then how many green? That gives you the 2 digit error code and we can go from there if you like? 😉

If it was that it would hum for longer, wouldn’t it?

They usually default into fault mode.
And I had maybe too much wine when I wrote it. 😥

Hi Guys sorry about the delay, just got back off my honeymoon, the only flashing light is a red one, if flashes 4 times after the humming noise stops, then the machine goes dead 😕

just been to a mates tricity bendix aw1202w today.
whatever you select on his, the drain pump runs for a few seconds then the end light briefly is lit then it goes dead. i noticed that the door lock does NOT lock.
i’ve tried a new lock, tested heater for o/c and low resistance (o.k.) i’ve also replaced the thermister and checked the carbons and tacho.
i took out the board and found no damage visible.
now i’m stumped.
hope some of this helps, and of course any advice for me would be much appreciated.
