I have a Hotpoint CTD40P Condensor Tumble Dryer that has stopped
working, it will run for a while and the element gets quite hot for a few minutes judging by the temperature of the casing. It then cools down coinciding with the following lights flashing with the drum continuing to turn:
Time Delay (1), High heat (3) and Alarm (4). The On/Off light also flashes.

I have had the back off and checked the thermostats, heating elements ect. and also ensured there are no blockages.

I have seen on this site that when lights 1,2 and 4 flash there is a problem with the pump, I would appreciate if anyone could tell me what fault lights 1,3 and 4 indicate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

F11 – pump out of circuit. Check pump, wiring, connections to PCB.

    Power off first.

Thanks for the help, tested the pump and found it open circuit. Ordered a replacement on this website under £30 with delivery. Will update when part replaced.

    Thanks again.
