    Hi there!

We have a problem with our Stoves gas cooker because the clock/timer is faulty.

The main oven cannot be turned on because the clock will not set and (I am assuming) the timer thinks that because there IS no time then it won’t allow that oven to turn on!

We have worked out that if you turn on the top oven’s grill the timer flashes after a while (like it’s reached the time to turn on the oven!) and the oven will turn on but after a while it will turn off again and we have to go through the same process to get it to start up again.

All very frustrating when trying to co-ordinate a sunday roast dinner!

Can anyone help… please! Is this an easy fix?

    Thanks in advance…

your problem sounds like a faulty timer unit

have you checked it is set for MANUAL OPERATION and you can set a real time

if led is flashing it is normally the clock not set correctly and manual symbol not showing

thanks for your response… unfortunately the clock does not respond to pressing of any buttons with regard to setting the time!

I was wondering if we might be able to disconnect it? (where do I start & how?)…

P.S. what does the manual symbol look like?
