My Bosch SGS45E08GB/45 dishwasher seems to be working okay (it is washing) but it does not switch off and the end (timer display reaches zero). When I open the door the machine still appears to be doing some sort of rinse as there is still water going through it. The contents is clean but obviously wet.
Any ideas ?
Hi Drakester,
Sorry about the troll, I’ve restarted your thread here, hopefully you’ll get some answers.
The standard fault on all modern Bosch dishwashers is sludging in the the lower transfer pipe and pressure chamber, which causes under-filling. As a consequence, insufficient water is circulated to operate the diaphragm switch on the end of the heater box.
It is possible that the heater has failed, but normally a strip down and clean will do the job.
This hose is a primary culprit.

If cleaning that out doesn’t do the job, this is your next step.

Heater itself should read 25-30 ohms when tested with a test meter.
