ParticipantNow that pcb repairs has its own sticky
I was wondering if anyone had cracked the code yet on mending the flashing light of death on these older wma boards
A visual of the board has yielded no clues..
Anyone had any luck repairing one?

Usually there are burnt copper strips so you just need to solder in wire links. You could check continuity between the interlock plug and the corresponding plug on the module.

I’ve had a few that have had the chip blown, and I’ve changed the chip quite tidily on some of the boards but something else must go at the same time because the replacement chip alone has never repaired a board for me.

I had a go at one with blown lock triac and two small smd’s close to it but it was wasted effort, had to get one from the Edinburgh Woollen Mill in the end.
No, sorry, it was E.M.W.
