When I turn the power on to the machine GW711 F & P at the power point the washer powers up & does it’s start up cycle & then starts to beeps every second with the the third & forth wash progress lights from the left on (green) & the spin light on ( red)
When start/pause button is activated the lid light comes on & the other lights go out with the beeping stops.
If I push the power button the lid light goes out & the other lights come back on with the beeping.
I have tried to get a fault code but this function does not work, I have been reading through other questions & answers on this site & thought it may have been a cold water solenoid or wiring. I have check both solenoids with reading of 64 ohms cold & 65 ohms hot. I don’t think this would be the problem, it’s looking more like maybe the controller module is at fault.
As I said before the control panel comes on straight away when I turn the power point on the wall on.

Any help would be good thank you

I’d start with the lid and out of balance switches under the top deck. Notorious for wiring and corrosion problems.

You may have “Restart” turned off.

Power on at socket and off at machine. Press and hold Wash Temperature Down, the press Power. Wait for the two beeps. Press Water Level Down to turn restart on – Low Water Level led will light. Do this whilst holding the Advance button to set into memory. Power off, then try it….
