    Bosch SPS2462GB

Has worked an absolute treat until recently. Machine turned on, woke in morning has not progressed.

Tried again following evening, put on number 2. It drains first, fills, stops.

I thought, argh, must be stat or element.

Manually forwarded to wash cycle. Motor action fine. Went to bed.

Awoke, machine still washing, water was hot, eliminating the element being at fault.

I am assuming the issue is one of two things, stat or timer, timer being the stronger possibility, as stat kept water from over heating. I have tried the other programs, but the same issues.

Anyone advise, perhaps I have missed something

Additonally, I am in a very hard water area, not sure if that helps.

Broken wiring in the door pivot point should be your first port of call.

I accessed the wiring loom discussed, appears well protected in a ribbon like fashion in a quite thick membrane.

Regardless, I cut along the unbonded side of the mebrane to expose the wires, inspected all the way down, disconnected two multi plug connectors at the front base enabling to pull the loom tghrough further to inspect all the way from timer etc to base, piump, pressure switch. Check all visible connections as well as disconnected, reconnected, including on timer, stepper, etc.

    Problem still persists

After first fill, nothing, does not move on. put ear to machine and there is a slight buzz, thats all. Move round to wash, washes, does not move on.
