    Hi been called to this one, customer claims that when the machine is started it starts to fill but the machine also starts to drain at the same time there are no flashing lights, so no fault code displayed.
    I have already asked them to check plumbing to rule out waste hose syphoning.
    Any ideas with this one?

    If you set it to a spin programme and it starts to fill then the PCB is goosed, well known fault.

    It’ll also fill and empty if the wiring to ntc is broke!

    That should always throw up an error code though.

    jim is right, you would get an f3 fault, even the dryer ntc would normally flash an f13 fault

    😀 Thanks for the replies, I had a look at the board and looked like there had been a bit of action around one of the solder joints. When I ran the machine I could see a bit of arcing between two soldered joints. I cleaned the crud from around the joints and tried it again. It worked fine. Whatever the crud was, it was clearly conductive.
