Is it the belt tensioning pulley? I think you’re best going in from front. Pull out lower section of front – held in by (rusted in place?) springy clips. Get the fan chamber front off and reach a hand round behind to the other end of the motor (power off 😆 ) Don’t ask me if there’s a uf there, I can’t remember. No, I think it works on a centrifugal switch, but take care. There you’ll find the motor pulley has a hexagonal end so you can get a spanner over it to hold it still (about 21mm IIRC) while you unscrew the plastic fan in the direction indicated by the arrow embossed in it’s edge. Once that’s done it should all be obvious.
