ok fitted new door intelock , and door locks now so thats good ,m/c was stopped mid cycle so is full of water switched to drain and pressed start .. nothing 10 mins nothing , bailed out water with jug as much as i could and restarted on drain cycle still nothing , opened filter and drained rest of water , restarted but i forgot it was on drain cycle and guess what … it started to drain ???? i let it finish and started a wash cycle, after 15 mins i stopped it and turned the switch to drain .. once again nothing so i repeated the above process once again ,any clues ????

Just wondering if you checked the capillary tube connected to the pressure switch. Overtime it can rub on metal work and form a pin hole in the rubber. If this does not operate in the manner it was intended it can cause the odd symptoms you are experiencing.
Remove the tube and blow in it to pressurise it.
If that checks out, connect the tube to the pressure switch and check that the diaphragm acts on the switch. You need a multimeter to bell out the switch connections.
If you don’t understand that then call out a qualified repair engineer.Isolating the appliance from the electricity mains socket by removing the plug from the socket will prevent almost certain death. You have been warned.

i take it its the tube that runs from under the tub up to a blue round switch under the top cover rear right hand side 8mm diameter with 2 pieces of sponge around it for protection , when i blew into it i could feel and hear water gurgling at the other end , i forgot my multimeter so i just connected it back up , i dont have an electrical schematic do you know which wires bridge out the switch for operation ? cheers kuango
