Got a main oven thermostat failure it lets the oven element stay on even when switch is turned off which also turns off the fan.

Does anybody know about the conversion from 3 wires to the 2 wire thermostat now supplied for this cooker.

If the element is receiving power when the oven is switched off, then surely you mean the regulator?

When you switch the oven thermostat off the fan stops but the temperature light and element stay on.

The thermostat is a 3 terminal version which feeds the fan and element.

The 3 terminal version is nolonger available and a 2 terminal version is now supplied but you have to contact belling regarding the wiring conversion hence i have started here as its cheaper than ring there numbers.
