Shows no error codes in display.
Program machine and it starts normally. After wash cycle (water is heated) the machine empties of water and does gentle spin. When the machine comes to do its rinse it just reverts to ‘end’ and the door releases. The machine then will not take a further program for a couple of hours. Once a few hours passes the process can be repeated.

You’ll need first of all the enter the diagnostics sequence to find the last error code. No error codes will possibly point to a fauly main board anyway, but earth leaks on dryer elements, open circuit dryer inlet valve coil can have a similar effect showing no error code. An E8? or E9? error shown on diagnostics is usually the main board faulty by the way. 😉

Would anyone have the diagnositc PDF for that machine?
I tested the dryer and it appears to work. However the wash cycles all cease to proceed after just a few seconds (unless the machine is left a couple of hours)

PS Agree with Martin on the quality of the machine – rubbish! The module is £160 odd which pretty much means a write-off.

When Martin mentions earth leaks on dryer elements he means anything below FORTY MEGOHMS. (Not what would normally be considered a significant earth leak. Won’t stop dryer working normally!) Thus it is written in the service manual if you can find it. And it has been the source of much grief. Disconnect element and see if washer will then work normally.
