Went to this machine earlier today, customer said it wouldn’t spin.
Did the usual quick visual check, pump filter clear, motor comm clean and shiny. The only thing I could fault was a slight ‘clicking’ from the brushes although there was no sign of any damage to the comm.
Set it to the full spin programme and it went through perfectly, a little noise from the brushes but nothing excessive. She was not sure if she had selected rinse hold so I asked her to try the machine again.
She has just phoned back to say it has gone through the wash cycle and is now stopped midway between 10 & A on the dial, appears to have drained. 😕
Any pointers would be welcome.

Did you get her to select spin on its own after it faulted?
As you know, it could be a timing out on drain, or is it a time-out on fill?
You know what customers are like! Its not actually a no spin fault, its just that it hasn’t got to spin!

She did say she had tried to get it to spin but she does come across as a bit of an air head, very pleasant but a bit dizzy so anything is possible. 😉

Sorry for not getting back, it was an item of clothing stuck round the eco ball.
When I asked her if she had noticed it wasn’t emptying properly she said she had but didn’t think it mattered so didn’t mention it. :rolls:
