ModeratorDue to the cost I have never had to do one of these before but have a three year old AEG with blown doorlock that has taken out the main PCB.
I can just about manage to manouver the PCB to take off the back cover and see the blown tracks.
Is there a knack to getting these things out completely and back in, or is it a struggle, hardly room for my tiny mits in there. 😥

A total PITA! Can’t believe how few Lux jobs you have up there that you haven’t had to do this till now.

It seems as though an epidemic is starting. 😀
Had five or six Lux group W/Dryers in past two days and had several with low insulation dryer elements in past few weeks.
Fitting a motor to one tomorrow, couple of brush jobs today on Zan machines, all grist to the mill. 8)
The locals are reluctant to pay for such expensive repairs as PCB’s normally but this one is a three year old integrated job so any replacement machine will be costly as well.

Quick supplementary question re unconfigured boards. I have just had a quick look on TDS and can’t see any info on how to configure the PCB’s on these, am I missing something?
Model is a 914601218/01..ZJD12191

Hi.
You can only configure the board via a program called sidekick which is as far as I know only available to Serviceforce techs.
You can order a preconfigured board. Part number is: 973914601218014
