Wierd one this,9times out of 10 it works,every now and then it fills and sits there no jet /no motor. turn it to spin, pumps out spins.turn back to wash prog works ok.it seems as ifthe jet pump doesnt kick in at low level fill when it does m/c works help.m

Pressure switch maybe ?
I think on these that the 1st or 2nd level on the switch triggers the motor action and circulation pump, the water then continues to fill untill either the 3rd level is reached or the other smaller pressure switch turns the water off.
Or it could be the other way round, I can’t remeber exactly which order the levels are switched, but worth a look at I would think.

Also take the sumphose off the manifold just to check there’s nothing stuck in there? I have had 2 similar probs with same model kind of giving those symptoms. The first was a phonecard stuck in the pipe acting like a flap valve and the other job was a rubber adidas badge off someones trainers stuck in there!
Does the Timer start skipping along for no reason sometimes I wonder as well?
Start with the simple then start scratching your head and saying “Oh dear missis you got a problem there right enough, who one earth sold you this load of garbage?”

Thanks for the replys guys cant see it being a blockage as there is no feed to jet pump, pressure switch seems likely, any idea which one controls that initial jet or better still a part number of offending switch Regards M

That’s fine, but DO check for the possibility as both the ‘Wash Pump’ and Inlet Valve do a merry dance together in these circumstances. Do take a look for my benefit and tell me I’m wrong OK 😉

The Safety Level Switch is 1247328907 and the 3 level is 1247328303. It may interest you to know that Wash Vacs (Part Center) list them as ‘Special Order Only’ which is a good indication that they don’t sell too many/if any to warrant stocking them!
