Door interlock or drier element shorting to earth. Unplug the drier element and try the machine again.
HTH,
Steve.

Hmmm – visited site – tried machine with heater disconnected – same error – tried new interlock – same error.
Machine takes in water for about 10 seconds then you hear the door click open and the pause/start light flashes green !!
Module ?? lots of money !!

ps – didnt disconnect the dryer heater – might this give me the problem even at filling up stage ?

Enter the ‘diagnostic cycle’ may tell all (see KNOWN ERROR CODES).
It’s important to realise that all these modern electronic heaps of junk do ‘self-check’ their individual components before embarking on any programme cycle. When an error occurs as in this instant, the machine throws a wobbly if (for example) the dryer element is o/c or s/c. Or the motor brushes are knackered, or the inlet valve o/c and so on…….
Entering ‘diagnostics’ can save time fuffin’ around checking all components and can be done prior to even attempting to move the machine. 😀
SIMPLES! 😆

The problem was the dryer element < 10meg e/ins in all cases , ive had another 2 since exactly the same fault, all 3 customers hardly used the dryer on them.Disconnecting the element sorted it, doesnt seem to throw any error when its taken out of circuit so 1 customer said leave it disconnected then, havent heard a peep out of them so all must be good.

Yep, guilty as charged – didnt note that it was the dryer element that was probably suspect – will return with new dryer element next week 😳
