Does anyone know if the water inlet on the tumble dryer section of a Hotpoint BWD129 Built in Washer Dryer turns on and off while its drying (bit like the drain pump) or is it a continuous flow like other machines because it takes in far to much water and wets the cloths.

I take it you have checked the sump and pump filter for blockages ❓

I have deleted your other post on this topic, it makes sense to keep it to one thread or you may end up getting conflicting or duplicate replies. 😉

The condensor valve is energised continually on this model and should only trickle the water in.

It could be the valve is faulty, or it is not draining correctly.

Have you tried the machine with only the condensor valve connected to eliminate the possibility of the other valves being energised in error ?

Might be worth removing the eco ball, just in case it is sticking in the sump hose.
