unfortunatly bearing behind seal can be lifted in and out with 1 finger and there is 0.5mm of play so sleeve is damaged.
dont know how this has happened. Did not even know machine had a bearing prob till it started to spin. it was ok on wash and very high spin but made a noise on the way up. its a nice machine works well and is a shame to scrap it but at over £90 for parts its a bit silly. what i need is a scrap machine with other faults and make 1 good one
What? What you mean loctite them in? I admit it does need some filler or a wedge to hold the bearing race tight, but are you sure it will withstand 7kg of clothes plus water tossed about at 1400rpm?
It will need a new rear half.. Loctite doesn’t work on housings that are worn. You’ll only have a recall within days even if you could get them to sit firm.
