    Gents,
My Bosch SGS43T02 GB/06is not draining, and at the end of the cycle leaks a little bit. I manually bailed all the water oput and watched it, same again. I wondered if it was the pump maybe? I feel sure thatin the past if you hold the start button down it will eventually start draining, but now when I do that nothing happens. So I kind of suspect the pump or connections to it, but I’m speaking from aposition of ingorance, so any help woulod be gratefullyreceived…

Most likely just a blocked/fouled pump…the model number you’ve given isn’t recognised on the Bosch website but if your machine has a stainless steel tub (rather than grey plastic) then have a look in your instruction book, it will tell you about the small cover in the sump which can be removed by the one torx screw holding it in. This will expose the impellor so you can chaeck if anything is jamming it.

Just be a little careful if you poke a finger in, sometimes it’s a sharp chip of glass in there .

If you have the cover off then start the machine on any cycle for a few seconds, very often the pump will run and kick out whatever was stopping it 😉

I think I fixed it, took the galvanised cover off the bottom, found the exit pump. It had a plastic tang stopping it from rotating to remove, so I had to break the tang is this correct? Anyway I found a big ceramic chip in the pump vanes (from a plate)& removed, and we are on an express cycle now to test. Fingers crossed and cheers for the pointer.

Actually the tang just needed to be depressed and would lock the pump back on again after, having said that they are quite a snug fit so unlikely to ‘un-bayonet’ itself IMO

    Glad you got it sorted.
