KeymasterDoes anyone know where I can get a user manual for a select 610 by diplomat cooker? The previous owners never left any when they moved!

Could you find the full model number from the rating plate please. It should be around the door somewhere, failing that on the top of the oven itself.
The model will begin with APM/APL/AHY or similar
Thanks.
Dave.

KeymasterI’ve looked everywhere and can’t find one! It is a built in oven so cant get to the top. The only APL No I can find is for the microwave housing on top. The only markings of any kind on the oven state Select 610 by Diplomat.

KeymasterIt should be on the rating plate, normally on the inside leading edge of the oven cavity when you drop the door down. If it’s been removed then you may well be out of luck. 🙁

I don’t think he did Sid.
So, to help narrow the odds down for you both if you can’t find the model number, let me know the following please:
Built in or free standing
Double or single oven
Gas, electric or dual fuel
Approximate age
I’ll see what I can come up with if you supply all of the above.
Regards.
Dave.

OK it’s a single electric oven. It is built in with an electric hob (also by diplomat) on top. Don’t know how old but I would guess at 5yrs. Whereabouts would I find this ID code to help you ?
Cheers

The model number is normally round the door somewhere as desribed, but for this one it may be on the roof of the oven.
No matter, I have found it I think, just need to confirm a couple of things…….
The oven should have 2 knobs on the left and a clock/timer on the right with didgital display and three buttons.

No sorry Dave,
It’s got one knob on the left going through to 250 deg and Grill and an analogure display clock on the right with black knobs to control the On and Off I think (that’s one of the things I want to learn from the User Manual).
Cheers

Wierd all the Diplomat 610 versions on the tech disk have two knobs and an electronic timer.
In that case, you’ll need to slide the oven out of the housing and get the model number off the top of the oven itself.
Let me know when you find it.
Dave.

KeymasterI too have a select 610 by diplomat. I pulled the housing out and on the top it says hygena AHY3300 – maybe this will help the others too.
I also am after the manual because my oven doesnt work and have been told that should be the clock setting.July 8, 2004 at 7:56 am #113526admin
