This is driving me mad!
fan in freezer running no problems, changed thermostat, still compressor running (normal temp) but both fridge and freezer not cooling?There is a gurgling sound from the pipework??
Have cleaned the fins on the back of the appliance.
Does it need re-gassing? Is this something I can do at home?
Is there a kit needed for filling the gas?
ThanksIf its running and not freezing, then you have a gas problem… the gurgling usually means it’s a gas leak.
Look for oil traces from the leak on any pipe-work… and look for rust on condenser at back where it touches insulated pipes.
If you find a leak, call an engineer.
