ParticipantThis is a strange one, I had the above machine in for a bearing replacement last week, delivered it back to the customer on Friday, gave it a quick fill and drain everything OK. The customer has used it a few times over the weekend but then yesterday the machine filled up a little bit and started to beep. Now this model has a LCD display, but the display on this machine does not work, and hasn’t done for over a year (without affecting the operation of the machine), I would assume that when the machine beeps it will probably display a fault code on the LCD display, so is there any other way to determine the fault code? Or has anybody any ideas what could be causing the machine to abort so early in the wash?
Thanks for any help

Well I’m thinking water supply problem. Its the sort of recall that makes me think the customer has kinked a hose. (I just wanted to check for leaks, you know that sort of thing, not that they will admit it!)
Its always after this sort of job.

Thanks Tim, I’ve asked the customer to pull the machine out and try it again, but it is still only filling a little bit then aborting. 🙁
I am going to go out tomorrow and have a look :rolls:

ParticipantHow long between the fill and beeps ? If its 4 -5 mins , i’d be checking the valves . If it fills for approx 4-5 secs and then doesn’t do any more , sounds like the main wash valve is dodgy.

Its got a flowmeter between the valve and soap dispenser, its probaly not picking up any impulses, it will beep after taking in the initial bit of water because it thinks the tap is closed but in truth its not, the display would be saying at this point ‘Tap Closed?’ these little things are crap, just bad luck that its gone I should think.
