    Good morning,

Wondering if anyone can offer some advice on a problem with the above m/c?

The m/c will not allow water to enter, and remains in the pump out/safety mode.

When I came to test the inlet valve, rather than the usual style of valve, the one fitted is disc shaped which I believe is the inlet valve.

Could someone confirm this, as I may be mistaken; perhaps the disc valve is a separate unit, and the inlet valve is located elsewhere.

Also wondering if the aqua stop system has activated, but don’t know how to test this. Perhaps I should replace with a normal inlet hose to ascertain?

There are no error codes or flashing lights.

    Regards,

The disc shape is probably the ‘impeller jug’ (Part No 424099) you refer to? Likely as not that is indeed faulty, I would guess. When you say “and remains in pump out/safety mode” by that perhaps you are experiencing it filling and draining in rapid succession? Again if that’s the case then change that all important impellor jug to cure.

The inlet/safety valve, by the way, is remotely located at the end of the inlet hose adjacent the stopcock! 😉
