    Hi

    Having recently taken over more kitchen responsibilities at home (it’s a long story…) I’m determined to fix our oven. It’s about 7 years old and the top oven just keeps on heating up beyond the temperature it is set at.

    I guess it is the thermostat which needs to be replaced but thought I’d bounce this off you good folks before doing anything rash…

    The oven is an AEG D4100M double oven and its product number is 944171156

    I have a similar problem with an AEG single oven (Competence B8871-4). did you get a satisfactory response to your question?

    From what you say it must only be a thermostat issue with the top oven. Therefore a replacement (Part No: 3111655019) would be the obvious solution I would think?

    I’m assuming the top oven thermostat control is the one on the far right of the control panel in this case? If so that’s the part you need and available by emailing spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk
