LG have issued a product recall on some of their dishwashers due to a small muber of cases where a component failure can cause the appliance to overheat and smoke from the door handle.
The models affected are:

LD-2050SH
LD-12BS6
LD-12BW5
LD-12BT7

LG state that this is a part of their stringent product testing and it is ensuring that its products are maintained to a high standard. They also apologise for any inconvienence caused by this recall.
