LG has said that it is to open up a new plant in Clarksville, Tennessee in the USA to make washing machines for the US and Canadian markets we presume.

LG Signature Hits The UK

LG is to launch it’s upmarket and very pricey range of Signature appliances in the UK it has been confirmed and they should be available to buy sometime this month.

LG Deep Learning

LG is going all in it would appear with it’s new Deep Learning concept for the domestic appliances it produces, including robotic vacuum cleaners in its ongoing efforst to build a better mousetrap.

LG Energy Use Study

LG have commissioned a survey of 2000 people in the UK to get their views on how important energy efficiency is to people when buying washing machines with some more insights thrown in to the mix.

LG/Miele Patent Spat

Like a bolt out the blue we read this morning that LG is to take on Miele over patents related to steam washing machines demanding that Miele chuck infringing on LG’s patents possibly leading to steam from German ears.
