Not to be outdone by arch rival Samsung, LG is launching it’s ThinQ AI platform for service and preventative maintenance in Europe.

LG have unveiled a new range of fridge freezers for the European market, focusing on energy efficiency, smart features, and space-saving designs.

LG has recently acquired an 80% stake in Athom, a company based in Enschede, Netherlands which operates in the smart home arena.

LG is to launch it’s upmarket and very pricey range of Signature appliances in the UK it has been confirmed and they should be available to buy sometime this month.

Like a bolt out the blue we read this morning that LG is to take on Miele over patents related to steam washing machines demanding that Miele chuck infringing on LG’s patents possibly leading to steam from German ears.

We picked up on this one from the USA and before anyone asks us, we’ve no clue if we’ll ever see it here in Blighty but knowing LG it will no doubt find its way here eventually.
