Have you printed out the error codes list as given elsewhere in this forum?

No errors indicated by top row of lights, have you checked the motor brushes?

I’ve had this before & it’s usually the PCB. One trick that works sometimes is to unplug the machine & short the live & neutral pins on the plug!! I didn’t believe it but the tip came from a current Hotpoint/Indesit engineer & it’s worked twice for me. It makes the board forget all its troubles & reset.

Er… that ought to go into one of the stickies e.g. “tips and tricks”.

Edit: Have taken the liberty of doing that for you.

iadom was right it was the brushes , also amazingly i had the same fault this week caused by a motor plug wire coming adrift on another machine
also had a ntc bad connection fault on heater thermistor the late type the small pins were coroded ( green in fact ) i changed it to earlier spade type thermistor

    thanks for your input
