Strange fault – temperature keeps fluctuating and the door open bleeper is going off intermittently even when noone is near the unit!

I am going for the control board although a little nervously!

    Any thoughts greatfuly received. 😀

    before you scap the board

check all capacitors for signs of the top bulging

try changing the power supply cap

from the picture i have connectors towards you look right hand side grey oblong block looks like a 1uf these go down with age

if it is that simple cheap fix

look in simple pcb repair tips above and you will see piture of other fridge boards with similar probs

    hope it helps

before u do that check the following…these fridges can be complex!

    defrost heaters > may have 2 !

    fan is running

evaporater is not blocked wih ice

if temps all over the place the ntc sensors can be badly out of calibration

remove plinths and clean condensor as it sits underneath fridge

check compressor temp and make sure compressor cooling fan is ok

    hope this helps, chris
