Went to look at this today, machine has RINSE led flashing about 1 sec interval. Cannot clear this at all, Scanned through known fault codes can’t find faults code on this(is there one?) Apart from flashing LED machine is dead, door interlock not locking. any ideas. Interlock fault? Could’nt go to far today because of time and machine built into unit with drier on top. Dont you just love them!

Thought I’d run this past you clever lads out there

    Thanks

    John

If it is JUST the RINSE led that flashes?….then it’s a Motor fault.

    HTH? 😀

Thanks, yes just the Rinse light flashing. No matter how program is selected, it would allow me to cancel out. door won’t lock nor does waste pump run.
Not sure how old machine is but does get a lot of use so are we just looking at worn brushes? or module. I’ll go back there today and extract machine from its hidey hole. Let you know how I get on

    regards,

Probably just the brushes, hopefully. The date code is the 4 digit FD number (FD????) by the way (e.g FD8806 = June 2008)…HTH? 😀

Hi, just for info changed brushes, existing were well worn but not u/s. Flashing rinse light still showing. Checked motor and PCB over no obvious damage, but noted, no power to door interlock. Any other ideas? Looking more like board fault? from date code machine is only 2 years old but it in a busy pub restaurant so does get a LOT! of use.

    Thanks

    John.

    Try resetting the machine. 💡

Hold the start button down for about 3secs and at the same time turn the dial one click to the 1 o’clock position. Release the start switch and put dial back to the off position. Hopefully that will reset it?

What was the megger reading on the motor by the way? ‘Cos sure as hell the fault lies there somewhere. 😉
