BACK OFF, DRUM OUT AND DEAD EASY TO GET TO, JUST DOUBLE SIDED ON ( HOWEVER ). Beko have now changed the design due to this fault, when you change the felt, it will last a week or so then come off again, jams the drum and snaps the belt. This is the major cause of snapped belts and we are doing about 10 full rebuilds under 1st year a week for Beko and they are a ball ache. The design change entails fitting a whole redesigned front duct and bearing assembly and redesigned drum, they are not interchangable. :rolls:
If you just want the part number for the stick on cloth bearing its 2961080100January 25, 2011 at 5:33 pm #342505funbobby

thanks for that very interesting, belt not snapped yet but seems a big job to modify all the bits on such a cheap machine!

I just got a call for a snapped belt on a DRCS76W. Its only a few weeks out of warranty, does it need one of these mod kits also? should I go at it or should i get them to chance their arm with beko?

if the drum is loose, i do just the belt!!!…however warn customer if belts breaks again, its new drum and front bearing duct……the belts are cheap and i can cover the cost…. if the drum is siezed when u get there, then its the full monty !

A little tip that sorted one of these that kept braking up the front felt added some baby powder to front felt , also used chalk powder that was 15 years old from the good old hoover tumble dryer days .
