    Hi all

I have been to look at the above machine and can see no dodgy connections or broken/damaged wires and it has worked perfectly every time I have tried it (apparently it only fails once every 3 weeks or so). When it fails it will still run the motor and do everything but heat, the customer then has to wait about 3 days before it will work again. I have checked the filters, condenser and water tank (Customer reckons that they clean/empty before each use – It looks clean as well).

I am wondering whether a sticky float switch would cause this? – Didn’t have time to rig it and it is in an awkward to get to position so can’t test it when live.

Does any one have a service manual for this machine please or any other ideas as to what could be going wrong?

    Thank you

    Jem

Sticking float switch or dodgy internal timer contacts could be the cause.

Looks like my guess of sticky float might be correct then – it is the only way that I could make a logical conclusion as to why it work again if you waited 3 days.

Now off to order a float and switch.

    Thanks again

    Jem
