Customer just called. I dont do a lot with fridge freezers because of not having info.
Freezer isn’t freezing. According to the search I did some of the KGN series have modifications involving defrost times and heaters etc. Is it worth the customer contacting Bosch even though outside guarantee if a known problem?
Can I help the customer with the problem?
Have advised to switch off for 48 hours. If appliance works does this show a defrost or defrost time fault?

Hi Paul. The customer contacted me today. It was the fridge that was at fault. It is now working after the 48 hour defrost. I have explained that if the fault returns in a relatively short period of time there must be a fault. Perhaps you can advise.Thanks.
