Are you sure? One of these is an NTC and will appear O/C with a simple continuity test.

Did you change the NTC for an ordinary stat?

There are also two different NTC/stat kits, one TOD and one ELTH, they are not interchangable.

Check connector J4 on main PCB, check NTC it should be about 500 Kilohms at room temp (20 deg) when checked at the NTC with the wires disconnected, Check for faulty wiring between J4 & the NTC, If NTC shows out of spec replace with correct type NTC, as Jim said 2 types available & they are definately not interchangeable, if all of the above checks out Replace main control PCB.

Completely wrong part. Its possible the original ‘one shot’ was faulty but the NTC would have been OK, usually due to clogged condensor.

You have fitted two thermostats when you should have fitted a one shot stat and an NTC kit.

Correct numbers are C00208298 for the one with the white NTC, and C00208299 for the one with the black NTC.

That is why you are now getting the NTC faulty error message.
