    strange one this, when you press start door lock light goes solid but then you just get a humming noise from what sounds like the valves or mains filter? checked insulation on both elements and swapped interlock but no joy, any thoughts?

    First thing it does after door locks is pump. Could the noise you hear be the pump?

    See error code thread or UKW Bible or TDS disk for Zanussi diagnostics access by the way.

    ok will look into diagnostics, def not pump it was coming from top left as your facing it.
