    Hi

    ❓ Can anyone advise why the duct stat with red dot does not even last a load before it goes o/c? (480112100395)
    I have cleaned all the pipes to ensure that they are not blocked or resticted.
    Just in case I have missed something

    this dryer works on vacuum

    the motor causes a vacuum in the drum which pulls the air in over the element

    so you are lookin for

    1 air flow problems which includes recirculation of the hot air

    2 leaks in the drum seals if these seals leak cold air gets in but more important the air is bypassing the element causing it to overheat

    ps you can reset stats by tapping them on the floor firmly

    Works even better if you put it in a freezer first

    Will go over the seals etc to see what is happening.
