When a spin starts the whole drum is jumping around side to side as the washing is thrown about. When the speed picks up its fine and also during wash cycle all is fine.

Only makes the jumping when spin is starting could this be weak suspension legs? The inner drum does not move up and down so the bearings should be good and there is no noise. I can move the whole inner and outer drum forwards and back quite easily.

    Thanks for any help.

As a rule the suspension legs (dampers) don’t give any trouble and last for years. Heavy or uneven loads will tend to make the drum jump around quite a lot though the machine should not move or be affected by this excess movement. It is important it stands on firm ground and the 4 adjusting feet are adjusted to compensate for any uneven floor and locked into position. The machine should also have clear gap of at least 1 cm around (front/back/top and sides)to allow for any vibration.
