Hello All, I’m helping a neighbour with a leaky Indesit IDF125 Dishwasher. It’s leaking water from the Air Break + Turbine assembly as it attempts to fill the machine. Iv’e taken the part off to look for any problems but it appears to have no moving parts ,appart from the flow meter. The water is spilling out through the air vents. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be ?[img]

Possibly the flow meter as they do go and it’s in that chamber, part here, but it could also be a pressure switch fault. That said, the chamber is pretty cheap to take a punt on.

I have the same problem with my Indesit IDF125.

It is leaking out of the holes in the air break. It looks like the water pressure is too high.

What is more likely to be the cause, the flow meter or the pressure switch?

I replaced the “Air Break & Turbine” as advised and the machine worked OK for 6 months.

However the issue has returned. When the water starts to fill the machine the water pressure seems to high and it overflows from the Air Break.

It could be the Air Break again but is it worth trying anyting else?

Someone above said it could be the pressure switch but this doesn’t look like it it attached to the Air Break. The watler inlet valve (see photo) feeds the Air Break could it be this that is at fault? Is there any way to test it with a multimeter?

    Any advice greatfully received.
