    I need to removed the lid, but it has security screws fitted.
    They are trox screws with centre pin..can anyone tell me the
    Tork size number I need to remove these. please. john

    I’d have given money to think you long since had youself a set in your toolkit. 😕

    The size you need for this job is a T20H and you can get a full set from THIS WELL KNOWN STORE 😉

    Martin, yes you are correct I own two sets but over the years have managed to loose the odd ones, this size being one of them, but will splash out and replace.

    I have come across this problem before too. They can be a bit tight and break a cheap torx bit. You can usually loosen them by centre punching the screwhead at an angle to start it on its anticlockwise way. Or if things get really desperate, saw through the plastic lugs. Replace with a normal 8mm head screw and a large washer.
