    went to this drier today and found only 1/2 the element heating. checked element with meter, and getting continuity on all of the element filaments?. But could not disconnect fully from connector block,might be getting reading off anoyher circuit, the output on the element+ the motor is 1.6Kw, and the m/c is rated upto 2.2Kw, therefore loosing .4Kw.
    the thing is I’m wondering is the control PCB only giving 1/2 heat, or is it the element itself.
    any info apprieciated, ie wiring diagram, or expierence of this problem.

    Usually the stat located in the front of the appliance!!

    checked that jazz, i have contiuity through the stat, and i think that one in the top at front is for the sensor, on autodry?.

    How were you testing it? It will only heat on 1/2 heat on timed drying, on sensor drying full element should come on after a few seconds. In service mode you can run it on full heat or half also to test.

    Hi Suedehead,
    Been a long time since I was at that one, looked back, found to be simply the condenser all blocked up, not allowing the proper air flow throught the drier.
    check it out 1st, before you buy the element.
