hi guys i went to this f/f and its not making ice customer sayes he left a bottle of champers in there and it popped and gushed everywhere , anywho the actual dispenser motor is fine , but i checked continuity on the top motor and nothing even when i bridged out stat not working , so a new motor and timer unit needed but prob is i cant find em anywhere , also when i checked supply voltage to motor its only reading 190v ? anyone have info on these thanks

hello hello hello is there anybody out there ? just nod if you can hear me .. is there anyone home ? so i removed icee makeree and checked it manually with flying lead and hey it works, mould heater ok , motor spinning round , fingers moving with motor , now the water is dispensing from the flap in door , but no water dropping into the mould , are the 2 linked by one valve or are there 2 seperate ones thanks

hi there is a two way vavle in the back one pipe goes to the water dispenser and other to the ice maker maybe blocked.disconnect and blow up it.

seems to be clear at the pipe , anyone have info on the infra red emmitter and reciever setup thanks

how old is machine,some u can self test,the serial number gives the age.sounds like the backboard tbh.

i dont know age of m/c s/n is 110802 001987 , i have an earlier tech sheet for the sbs models which sayes fix the emmiter flap in the closed pos. close the door switch ice maker on , within 60 sec. openn the door , hold light sw in closed pos. switch ice maker on , and listen to reciver led output code , i tried this it did not work , if i had tech sheet i would be able to figure it but it seems hard to get info on the whirlpool stuff !!

1108 so its 11 week of 2008,anyway turn ff off for about 2 minutes,turn ff back on open “freezer” door and activate the freezer light switch 4 times this will send ff into selftest,on freezer side numbers will shown up as 07-06-05-04-03-02 is a 2 minute test all the rest are a couple of seconds the if the display comes up as 00-0 the mechanics are ok,if u dont go into selftest 1st time try again ie turn off 2 minutes,to exit self test activate freezer light switch 4 times again or after a couple of hours it resets itself.ff will go back to factory settings ie -18 and 5,this will test the icemaker side.hope this helps.

test worked for me did go through 07 to 02 and then kept flashing alternating between 02 and 00 for about a minute and then went on to 01 and 00 for another minute or two before i ended the test . what does this tell you ? thanks
