I have E70 followed by 7 beeps, I see reading old posts this could either be an NTC thermistor or Brushes/motor.
The machine does run, it just displays that error and beeps all the time. Even after turning it off and starting again within 20mins is back to the same thing.
Could you piont me in the right direction please.

Any ideas of where to get a service manual?

there are 2 codes in the 70 range (7 beeps just means 70)

    it could be either

E71 NTC sensor for wash cycle defective
E74 NTC sensor for wash cycle improperly positioned

what they both come down to is

    ntc faulty
    wires to the ntc faulty
    main pcb faulty

its one of those i would think
does not mention motor in the tech blurb

    hope this helps

    Thanks Dave.
So If I meter out the cables from NTC to PCB. Then Check Ohms across the NTC, any idea of the value I should be getting at room temp?
**If I check it in hot water, I should just see a change anyway.
This fault is still intermittent, sometimes it works fine

I have checked these things now.
The wires from PCB to the NTC are fine, all wires are in the loom and clipped along the route, I get 5.1K across the NTC with the machine at room temp and not connected to the PCB. I think its either the pcb or the ntc failing…I only want to buy one of these items though, is it worth checking the pcb for dry joints?

    ntc

    20 degrees
    nominal val 6050 ohm
    max 6335 ohm
    min 5765 ohm

    60 degree
    nominal 1250 ohm
    max 1278 ohm
    min 1222 ohm

    80 degrees
    nominal 640 ohm
    max 620 ohm
    min 660 ohm

always worth looking for dry joint and bad connectors
