    the programmer is skipping through on this machine on all programmes – is it the timer itself at fault?

    Timer will skip on from where it was started, this is normal, it shouldn’t go all the way around to end though. If it does its likely that the p.c.b on timer is corrupted.

    A loose tacho magnet will cause the timer to abort and skip to the end – worth a check?

    Although you may have tried this already
