Hotpoint auto washer WF 740

got this machine stripped and it has a 30mm spider shaft and bearings not the usual 35mm.It is wma type and whilst I can find a bearing kit 30mm I cant find the spider.Anyone know the part no. please

There isn’t one but Qualtex do a pattern one.

I assume I could order 35mm tub rear with bearings and 35mm spider ??

Thats what I advise and do for most of my customers if they want a proper repair.

It just depends how much they are prepared to pay.

Are you absolutely certain it has the 30mm bearing and shaft.

All of the screwed drum versions on Partfinder only show the 35mm shaft & bearings for this model?

EDIT. I have checked all of the tech info that I can and there is no mention of this machine having the 30mm shaft/bearing. Has it been ‘doctored’ ❓

Agree with you totally,took me by surprise,my digi calliper says 30mm.As for neutering I dont know,could you be bothered.

and of course the tub rear half has a different hub centre for smaller bearings

If I am not mistaken there is actually 30mm or 35mm embossed on the back of the drum rear somewhere.
