My customer is over the moon at only having to pay £120 for me to QER it. I’ll let you know if it works.

QER reset it for £9.60! Result – charged customer nearly half of the £120 quote. Everyone happy

I am sure I read somewhere that it is not a good idea to tip these machines back if full of water, something about upsetting the pressure switch and locking the machine out.

I darned if I can find the info ATM.

If I do locate it I will let you know, unless johnnyj, helo_75 or Bob Hope have the info to hand. 😉

    Is this it? :

if the sump was blocked you will have to reset the pressure switch, manually drain all water from the appliance via the drain hose by lowering it into a suitable receptacle. remove the pressure switch hose from the pressure switch and refit. Switch machine On.
Open door and fill drum with approximately 1 Litre of water. Close door. Set appliance to drain and start appliance; the pump will then drain the water out pressure switch and module now re-calibrated to zero.

I did try resetting the pressure switch, but to no avail. Before I got there, my customer had relocated the machine and omitted removing the blue bung from the waste trap. He ran the machine 8 times, manually draining and restarting the moon each time. After that the moon would not reset with all but one of this progress LEDs lit. In desperation I confirmed the pump operated by blowing into the pressure switch to confirm the pump and door lock worked by putting it into anti flood mode.

I got the impression this machine could not cope with more that 8 no drain faults in a row, or did I use insufficient water, 1 pint, to reset?
