    hi every body
    been to this today throws up e3. any ideas.
    what it isnt is
    heater element is ok as it does heat and reads ok on meter
    there is not a pressure switch on spray pump outlet.
    there is no leakage in the base.

    it does fill/drain/spray/heat. heated to 60 degrees on glasses wash so temp seems ok.

    the only thing it didnt do was open the soap box even though it did heat. do you think a faulty soap box would give e3 code?

    did you get anywhere with your Kenwood d/w E3 fault as I have to go look at a Kenwood KDW12SL3 tomorrow with a E3 error code.Thanks Mack.

    i may be wrong but i think this(kdw12) may be a multibranded machine ie haier/belling/powerpoint.couple of issues relating to e3 fault.one is temp sensor,the other is a pressure sensor inline with heater(follow heater wire which may be pink)sometimes if you add an extra 1.5 litres of water after it has filled it may trigger pres sensor to work to prove point.

    If the extra 1 1/2 ltrs of water works then there is a modified pressure switch available as a gorenje part.

    fixed my one today, it was the capacitor for the motor. Cheers Mack.

    Thanks for capacitor tip. With regards to other comments thank you but it was heating to correct temp. (used digi thermometer). And it was spraying.
