    this comin up with e 50 help lads any ideas machine wont do anything?

    E51 Motor power supply triac short-circuited PCB faulty; current leakage from motor or from wiring.

    E52 No signal from motor tachometric generator Motor faulty; wiring faulty; PCB faulty

    E53 Motor triac sensing circuit faulty PCB faulty

    E54 Motor relay contacts sticking PCB faulty; current leakage from motor or from wiring

    You need to enter diagnostics to find the correct error code

    had done the same info criscold beat me to it

    check for motor shorts to earth that can cause E51 faults
    check obvious like brushes
    if motor turns and stops check for tacho output

    when i held reset an another button all lights flash up and down as i moved timer knob round e51 came up is that the pcb duff en? ta

    same fault code comes up if motor has an earth fault

    ie wet or carbon dust
